On June 5, 2024, BPM Entertainment announced that Taemin would hold a fan meeting on July 13-14, 2024, at Jangchung Arena in Seoul to celebrate his birthday. The name "Never-Never" was chosen to portray "a fantasy space where Taemin and his fans meet." Tickets went on sale for members of Taemin's fan club on June 12 and opened to the public on June 14.[1] Tickets sold out during the presale and crashed the servers.[2] On June 26, BPM announced that there would be an additional performance on June 12 and that limited-view seating would be made available. Another ticket sale was held on July 2.[3] The fan meeting was broadcast in cinemas by CGV[4] and livestreamed online by BIGC.[5] At the fan meeting, Taemin announced that he would release his fifth mini album in August and embark on his first world tour.[6]
