On June 26th, SHINee (SM Entertainment) is releasing its eighth regular album, 'HARD.'
This album comprises of ten songs of various genres, including 'HARD,' album’s lead single, along with 'JUICE,' '10X,' 'Satellite,' 'Identity,' 'The Feeling,' 'Like It,' 'Sweet Misery,' 'Insomnia,' and 'Gravity,' providing the audience with a chance to experience a much richer than ever and diverse musical styles of SHINee.
Regardless as a solo or as a group, SHINee has already proved to the world its talent as all-around performers of trendy and unique music, and so, there is a high expectation for the upcoming album that marks the new chapter celebrating the 15th anniversary since the group’s first debut and how it will showcase the familiar, yet different 'SHINee-ness.'

Forever, we are ‘Young & Wild!’
The lead single, 'HARD,' is a hybrid hip-hop dance song with a mixture of genres inlcuding boom bap, R&B, and 90s hip-hop. SHINee's powerful vocals along with a strong piano performance intensifies the song overall storyline. In the lyrics, 'We Go Hard,' a catchphrase used, expresses SHINee’s strong will and belief in the power of music while professing the group’s message to stay forever ‘Young and Wild,’ never giving up and always moving forward even at forks in life.
'JUICE,' a song with an encouraging message to be be confident and to live every moment to the fullest, 'Satellite,’ a dreamy electronic pop song that makes an anaology about a situation where one’s inability to get close to someone to a satellite, and 'Gravity,' a song about a heart longing for loved ones calmly told through warm and sweet tones, are songs expected to be big hits.
'10X,' a song that boldly reveals one’s primal feelings towards an another, 'Identity,' an up-tempo, dance song with a strong message to show others the person you are truly on the inside, and 'Like It,' a song that illustrates one’s heart being attracted to an another through various sensuous expressions, are also great B-sides that will captivate the music fans.
Other songs in the album include 'Sweet Misery,' a song about ambivalent feelings of happiness and longingness post breakup, 'Insomnia,' a song that unravels the feelings of separation through the intuitive topic of insomnia, and 'The Feeling,' a song to all cherished ones rendered in a refreshing vibe. While demonstrating the wide musical spectrum of SHINee, the ten songs each showcase different kind of charm that make the album complete.[1]
