The ‘Almighty’, SHINee’s KEY (S.M. Entertainment), is releasing ‘I Wanna Be’, the repacked version of the first regular album on March 4th.
This album is like a gift that KEY prepared for his fans before entering the military and contains a total of thirteen tracks including ten songs from the original first regular album and three new tracks such as the title song ‘I Wanna Be’, ‘Show Me’, and ‘Cold.’ It will definitely present richer musical capabilities of KEY in full.
Especially, KEY became the center of attention with his first regular album, ‘FACE’, which was released in November last year and presented KEY’s very unique musical character and also recently proved formidable popularity and influence by selling all seats for all eleven shows in his first solo concert, ‘<THE AGIT> KEY LAND - KEY’, which ended in a great success. Likewise, this album is expected to draw explosive interest of music fans globaly.
‘I Wanna Be’ – Title song with KEY’s unlimited love toward his fans!
The title song, ‘I Wanna Be’, is a pop dance song with the mysterious intro and addictive chorus. The lyrics deliver the message from KEY to fans by expressing his honest feelings, ‘I want to be by whom I love wherever whenever.’ Rapper, Soyeon of (G)I-DLE, is featured to double the charms of the song.
‘Show Me’ is a pop rock song in a dynamic mood that depicts the wish to know the honest feeling of the one he has a feeling for in a straightforward way. The bonus track, ‘Cold’, is a medium tempo R&B song released through SM ‘STATION’ Season 3. KEY partially wrote the lyrics to express the pain from the withering love in cold winter alongside the rap by the featured rapper, Hanhae. The song will mesmerize the ears of the listeners with KEY’s very unique musical sensitivities.[1]
