SHINee (샤이니, Syaini, pronounced "shine-ee") is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment in 2008. The group is composed of Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho andTaemin.
History
SHINee made their debut on May 25, 2008 on SBS' music show, Inkigayo: The Music Trend, with their single "Replay", from their first mini album Replay.
On October 26, 2008, a repackage of their first album, titled Amigo, was released.[1]
In 2009, SHINee released their second mini album, titled Romeo.[2]
Members
- Onew: Oldest member, leader and lead vocalist.
- Jonghyun: Main vocalist, shortest in the group.
- Key: Lead rapper, lead dancer and vocalist.
- Minho: Tallest in the group, as well as the visuals, main rapper, dancer and vocalist.
- Taemin: Youngest member (Maknae), main dancer and vocalist.
