‘Global K-POP Leader’, SHINee (SM Entertainment), is releasing ‘The Story of Light’ EP.3, the third installment of the sixth regular album, to bring the grand finale to the series on June 25th.
‘The Story of Light’ EP.3, the third installment of SHINee’s sixth regular album, comes with five new songs that will show great sensibilities and charms of SHINee including the title song, ‘Our Page.’ The new installment of the album is expected to mesmerize music fans with delicate and sweet charms contrasted with refreshing or powerful images they presented through ‘Good Evening’ and ‘I Want You.’
Also, global hit makers such as The Stereotypes, Andreas Oberg, MZMC, Rice N’ Peas, Bazzi, Simon Petren, August Rigo, Gustav Karlström, Yoo Young-Jin, Kenzie, Shin Hyuk, DEEZ, and Jo Yoon-Gyeong participated in this album to raise its quality, and great responses are expected.
Especially, SHINee has drawn media attention by making a comeback with the sixth regular album which comprises three installments that were specially prepared to present various unique music styles of SHINee by celebrating the tenth anniversary of their debut. The first installment, EP.1, was released on May 28 and the second one, EP.2, June 11, taking the top places on iTunes Albums Chart in 37 regions around the world, on domestic album and digital charts, and on television music programs to prove SHINee’s popularity. The new installment which makes a grand finale of the sixth regular album promotion is also expected to win fervent responses.
The 3rd Title Song of the 6th Regular Album - ‘Our Page’
The title song, ‘Our Page’, is a medium-tempo R&B song written in lyrical atmosphere. The deeply resonating electric piano melody is mixed with the rhythm that leads to a rosy atmosphere and the chant in the second half of the song that leaves the aftertaste to capture ears. The feelings for JONGHYUN that SHINee members have resonate more intensely in the lyric.
‘Tonight’ features the vaguely sounding piano and catchy vocal melody while classical instruments combined with future bass source create refined sound. ‘Retro’ which combines jazz hip hop and R&B expresses the familiarity and the feeling of love felt from the lover using retro materials, making the song more enjoyable.
‘I Say’ is a R&B ballad song that harmonizes sweet piano melody with brilliant orchestration and ‘Lock You Down’, a dance pop track with R&B bass that wishes the happy moments in the world of their own to last forever, is a special track with JONGHYUN’s voice. All five tracks will present the delicate and sweet musical sensibilities of SHINee.[1]
